Opening of the exhibition "Multifaceted Indonesia"

Today, on 16 May 2024, the students of the Institute had the opportunity to attend the opening of the exhibition "Multifaceted Indonesia" and a lecture by the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Ukraine, Mr Yudi ALAMIN, on "Foreign Policy of the Republic of Indonesia: Current Priorities and Development Prospects".
The participants of the meeting, organised by the Centre for ASEAN Studies, had the opportunity not only to listen to Mr ALAMIN's lecture, but also to communicate with him, asking him questions that are relevant today.
Welcoming the participants of the event, Valeriy Kopiyka, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of International Relations, thanked Mr. ALAMIN and all the staff of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Ukraine for their support of cooperation with the Institute and the enthusiasm with which they develop our country's cooperation with the Asia-Pacific countries, including in the educational sphere.
During the presentation of the exhibits, the students had the opportunity to learn more about the culture and traditions of Indonesia by listening to a presentation and examining the exposition in detail.
In his lecture, Yudi ALAMIN outlined the key features of the foreign policy of the Republic of Indonesia at the present stage, highlighted the procedural aspects of its development and the specifics of establishing relations between this country and Ukraine.
At the end of the lecture panel, an interactive Q&A session was held, which covered both theoretical aspects of the development of regional cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region and practical opportunities for deepening cooperation at the Ukraine-Indonesia level, especially in the context of strengthening Ukraine's position in the Asia-Pacific region in the context of a powerful propaganda war and open information pressure from the Russian Federation, as all states in all regions of the world must resist this.
