Participation of Associate Professor Olena Lytvyn in the American Petrach grant programme on Ukraine

Associate Professor of International Finance Olena Litvin participated in the American Petrach Grant Programme on Ukraine, which operates within the Institute for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies (IERES) at George Washington University and specialises in research on contemporary Ukrainian politics, society and culture at the Elliott School of International Affairs.
As part of the programme, Olena Lytvyn's research focused on sustainable development, international economic integration and globalisation, international investment and banking, international competitiveness and global commodity markets.
A publication was prepared for a monograph on the concept of transition to a balanced model of sustainable development, the subject of which is the system of environmental, economic, social and political relations in the process of sustainable development of a market economy. The proposed provisions, recommendations and conclusions can be used in the process of sustainable development of relevant legislation and laws at the national and international levels.
Associate Professor O. Lytvyn also conducted research on Ukraine's financial and economic policy in the context of martial law and geopolitical transformations, the results of which were integrated into the educational courses of the Institute of International Relations and Economics during the 2024/ 25 academic year for students of the International Finance and Investment and International Economic Relations programmes, and will also be used for panel discussions at the Freedom of Ukraine 2025 Summit economic forum on 7-10 September in London.
