Participation of the Institute of International Relations in the Franco-Ukrainian Staff Week, which took place at the University of Lorraine (France)

The lecturers of our Institute - Associate Professor of the Department of International Organisations and Diplomatic Service Roman Petiur and Associate Professor of the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations Liudmyla Shvorak - took part in the Franco-Ukrainian Staff Week held at the University of Lorraine (France).

The event was aimed at deepening cooperation between Ukrainian and French educational and research institutions, exchanging experience and establishing partnerships in the field of higher education and science.

As part of the University Week, the Franco-Ukrainian Forum brought together public figures, representatives of the diaspora, students and teachers to discuss the development of academic partnership between Ukraine and France.

Among the guests were representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine in France, the Mayor of Metz and Minister Delegate for European Affairs Benjamin Addad.

During the week, the participants learned about the best practices of the University of Lorraine in the field of international projects, visited research laboratories, learned about innovative services (including PEEL), and discussed formats for strategic partnership.

The focus of further cooperation is the development of a strategic partnership between Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and the University of Lorraine.
