Participation of International Relations professors in the organization and work of the inter-university scientific and methodological seminar

March 22, 2024 Teachers of the Department of International Relations and Foreign Policy took part in the organization and work of the inter-university scientific and methodological seminar on "Problematic issues of theoretical and practical training of specialists in the speciality "International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies "in the conditions of war and the formation of a new world order."

Representatives of the Vasyl Stefanyk Prykarpattia National University, the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, the Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University and the Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University took part in the seminar.

Topics of speeches:

• Volodymyr Manzhola "Training of international specialists in the context of paradigm changes in the science of international relations";

• Mykola Kapitonenko "For what and how to prepare international political scientists in the conditions of a change in the international order?";

• Viktor Konstantinov "Educational programs of the speciality "international relations": monodisciplinarity, interdisciplinary or multidisciplinarity?".

The discussions during the seminar went beyond the mere deliberation of actual problems in the field of international relations and public communications to include concrete propositions of their solutions and ways of improvement. Based on the results of the discussion, specific recommendations were formulated regarding the training of future specialists in international relations and the adaptation of educational programs to modern challenges and realities.
