Participation of Professor Oleksiy Chuhayev in the Annual Conference Viadrina Center of Polish and Ukrainian Studies

On 22-23 May 2025, Professor of the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv Oleksii Chuhaiev took part in the Annual Conference of the Viadrina Center of Polish and Ukrainian Studies, held at the Viadrina European University, Frankfurt am Oder, Germany.

The theme of the conference was: ‘Between Hope and Reality: Modernisation and Transformation in Central and Eastern Europe. Modernisation and Transformation in Central and Eastern Europe)

Within the panel ‘Paths to Market Economy: Lessons from Ukraine, Poland, and China’ (Panel 4.A. - Paths to Market Economy: Lessons from Ukraine, Poland, and China), Professor Chuhayev delivered a presentation on ‘International economic and multidisciplinary research on Ukraine and Poland in the XXI century: comparative content analysis’.

Within the framework of the section ‘Pathways to a market economy: the experience of Ukraine, Poland and China’, Professor Oleksii Chuhaiev presented a report on ‘International economic and multidisciplinary research on Ukraine and Poland in the XXI century: comparative content analysis’.

The report was devoted to the analysis of the topics of international publications on Ukraine and Poland in order to identify key trends in the field of economic and interdisciplinary research. The professor paid special attention to the comparative aspect between the two countries in the context of European integration and post-crisis transformation.
