Participation of Professor Shnyrkov O.I. in the conference "35 Years of Jean Monnet Actions"

On October 9-10, Head of the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations Prof. Shnyrkov O.I. participated in the online conference "35 Years of Jean Monnet Actions. Anniversary Conference. Change the EU, change your world, one lecture at a time." The conference discussed the further development of European studies and research under the program in over 1000 universities across nearly 100 countries, including Ukraine.

The Jean Monnet Programme is part of Erasmus+ and is aimed at supporting teaching, research, and discussion on issues related to the European Union. The main goal of the programme is to strengthen European integration by raising awareness about the EU, promoting teaching and research in European studies, and facilitating knowledge exchange between academic institutions and civil society.

Prof. Shnyrkov O.I., the Head of the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations, has been a Jean Monnet Professor since 2013. Additionally, from 2019 to 2022 he served as the Academic coordinator and Head of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence at the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations . From 2013 to 2016 he led the Jean Monnet Department, which was established within the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations.
