Participation of students and teachers of the IIR in the International Round Table 2026 “The Gender Dimension of Rights and Freedoms: Women’s Leadership for Resilience”

Students and faculty of the “International Communications” academic programme took part in the International Round Table 2026 “The Gender Dimension of Rights and Freedoms: Women’s Leadership for Resilience,” dedicated to the International Women’s Day.

The event was held at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and brought together Ukrainian and international experts, representatives of the academic community, the diplomatic corps, and civil society organizations.

The event was moderated by Olena Dobrzhanska, Associate Professor of the “International Communications” programme and Vice-Rector for Public Relations at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

The English-language session was moderated by Yaryna Loik, a second-year master’s student.

Olena Dobrzhanska and Mariia Zaitseva, Assistant at the Department of International Information, served on the organizing committee of the round table.

Dring the event, participants discussed issues of gender equality, the role of women’s leadership, and inclusive approaches to strengthening democratic resilience in society.
