Participation of students of the Institute of International Relations in the First National Forum of Talented Youth

On 24 January 2025, the First National Forum of Talented Youth was held, which was attended by more than 20 students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv who passed the NMT and ZNO with the highest scores in 2021-2024.

The event brought together more than 400 young Ukrainians from the fields of education, science and sports. Among them were winners of international and national competitions, prize-winners of the World Robotics Olympiad and European Championships in various sports, as well as graduates with the best EIT and NMT results.

The forum was attended by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovyi, Minister of Youth and Sports Matviy Bidnyi, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Olena Kovalska, Advisor to the Presidential Commissioner for the Presidential Foundation for Support of Education, Science and Sports Olha Budnyk, President of the NOC Vadym Hutzeit, cultural and educational figures and athletes, including Olympic champion Olha Harlan.

The topics discussed during the forum included the future of Ukraine, the role of talented youth in the country's recovery after the war, the development of promising areas of science, and factors that will facilitate the return of Ukrainians from abroad. In particular, the President noted that new investments and the implementation of economic projects were among the key conditions.

The forum was organised at the initiative of the Presidential Foundation for Support of Education, Science and Sports. From now on, it will be held annually to not only support talented young people but also to motivate them to fulfil their potential in Ukraine.
