Participation of students of the Institute of International Relations in the international summer school of political expertise "Thinking Wisely"

From July 13 to 19, 2025, students of the Educational and Research Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv Anna Kryzhanivska (4IL) and Anastasia Kyrnychenko (3IER) took part in the international summer school on political expertise "Thinking Wisely" from the Mieroszewski Centre.
The summer school brought together young people from Ukraine, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Lithuania, becoming an international platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience.
The program contributed to the development of analytical thinking of the participants and created a space for dialogue with Ukrainian and Polish lecturers - experts in the fields of analytics, political analysis and expertise.
One of the organizers of the Summer School was Kateryna Danylevych, a graduate of the Diplomacy and International Cooperation program of the Institute of International Relations (2023). She currently works as a researcher at the Mieroszewski Center.
"This summer school allowed me to look at the interaction of researchers and analysts with the state authorities in a new way. International law also plays a very important role for a comprehensive analysis of the events taking place in the world today," says Anna Kryzhanivska.
"The School of Political Expertise was an opportunity for me to rethink the role of analytics and critical thinking in the social sciences. The exchange of views with participants with different backgrounds was especially valuable, because it was in these conversations that a true understanding of contemporary challenges was born," recalls Anastasia Kyrnychenko.
"Congratulations to our students and graduates! We are proud of your achievements and desire for new knowledge.
