Presentation by Olga Poedinok and Albina Basysta at the First Summer School for Law Lecturers

From 3 to 6 August 2026, Albina Basista and Olga Poedinok, candidates of legal sciences and associate professors at the Department of International Law of the and Scientific Institute of International Relations at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, taught at the First Summer School for Law Lecturers, organised by the Association of Women Lawyers of Ukraine ‘YurFem’.

The event was dedicated to teaching the course ‘Conflict-Related Sexual Violence’, based on the guide of the same name, co-authored by Ms Albina and Ms Olga.

Earlier this summer, on 11 June 2026, a presentation of this Guide was held at the Institute of Media and Communication Studies for lecturers and postgraduate students from higher education institutions in Kyiv. The event also featured a screening of the short version of the documentary film Traces by director Alisa Kovalenko, which won the Panorama Audience Award at the Berlin International Film Festival.
