Professor Oleksandr Biriukov was re-elected as a Correspondent of the Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) until 2028

Congratulations to Oleksandr Biriukov, Doctor of Law, Professor of the Department of International Private Law, on his re-election as a Correspondent of the Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) for a new three-year term until 2028!
In Rome, during the 105th session of the UNIDROIT Governing Board, on the recommendation of the Standing Committee on Correspondents, it was decided to extend the mandate of Professor Biriukov as a Correspondent of the Institute.
This high international recognition is a testament to the significant contribution of the Ukrainian scholar to the development of private international law and his active participation in UNIDROIT activities.
UNIDROIT (International Institute for the Unification of Private Law) is an independent intergovernmental organization headquartered in Rome. Its mission is to study the needs and methods of modernization, harmonization and coordination of private (including commercial) law among states, and to develop internationally uniform instruments, principles and rules to achieve these goals.
