We are pleased to announce the publication of the lecture course "Geopolitical and Geoeconomic Interests of North African Countries," prepared in 2025 by Professor Pavlo Ignatiev of the Department of International Regional Studies at the Institute of International Relations.
This publication may be useful for students studying geopolitical and economic processes in North Africa, as well as those interested in issues such as the interaction of Arab countries with the State of Israel, the United States and the People's Republic of China, the peculiarities of Egypt's foreign and domestic policy, the status of Western Sahara, regional rivalry between Morocco and Algeria, Morocco's economic modernisation, the events of 2011, and the temporary democratisation of political life in the countries of the region.
