Publication of Professor Oleksandr Biriukov's article in a collective monograph on insolvency issues

A collective scientific monograph was published in Poland Social and Economic Aspects of Court and Out-of-Court Insolvency Proceedings edited by Anna Hrytsay and Bartosz Serakowski, published by Lazarski University Publishing House.
The collection includes an article by Oleksandr Biriukov, Doctor of Law, Professor of the Department of Private International Law of the Educational and Research Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, entitled "Development of Bankruptcy Legislation in Ukraine: from a Business-Oriented to a Socially-Centred Model". In his paper, the author analyses the evolution of Ukrainian bankruptcy legislation: from a business-oriented approach to a model focused on social aspects and protection of vulnerable groups.
It is worth noting that Professor Oleksandr Biriukov is a specialist in the field of bankruptcy, as he is a member of the World Bank's Task Force on Effective Insolvency Systems, a UNIDROIT Correspondent, a member of CERIL, and a Consultant to the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. He initiated the creation of the Bankruptcy Centre at the Kyiv National University's IIR Business School, which functions as a scientific, expert and educational platform for training lawyers in the field of bankruptcy.
