Representatives of the Institute of International Relations participated in the International Forum on Lobbying and Government Relations

On 5 September 2024, Mariia Zaitseva, Assistant of the Department of International Information, and students of the International Communications Programme of the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv took part in the International Forum on Lobbying and Government Relations.
The forum included two sessions: ‘Introduction of lobbying in Ukraine’ and “Regulation and international experience of lobbying activities”.

The event was attended by politicians, MPs, lawyers, public figures, entrepreneurs, as well as Ukrainian and foreign government relations practitioners, who discussed the political and legal aspects of lobbying regulation in Ukraine and abroad.

In an open interview, Kateryna Odarchenko, the head of LOBBY CLUB, answered the main questions:
- How the lobbying process is organised in the US;
- The difference between the American and European lobbying models;
- Lobbying for foreign interests in the United States.
