The round table "Public Diplomacy in Action: Cultural Achievements and Opportunities of Ukraine"

On November 22, Maria Zaitseva, Assistant Professor of the Department of International Information of the Institute of International Relations of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, took part in the round table "Public Diplomacy in Action: Cultural Achievements and Opportunities of Ukraine".
The event was attended by the representatives of the Ukrainian Institute, the Kyiv Regional State Administration, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, diplomatic missions of Ukraine abroad and others.
The participants of the round table presented examples of effective means of public diplomacy, in particular, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Viktoriia Lyalina-Boyko noted that despite the challenges and threats, Ukraine managed to achieve some success in this area, namely:
Thanks to the work on the international isolation of the aggressor country, 229 cities out of 23 countries have severed fraternal ties with Russia.

As part of the "Ukraine Street" campaign, 20 streets and squares in 17 countries were renamed and named in honor of our country as a sign of solidarity with Ukraine.
The flash mob #FREETHELEOPARDS accelerated the delivery of Leopard II tanks to the Ukraine.
Campaign #LightUpUkraine – On December 21, the most popular locations in the world turned off their lights in solidarity with Ukraine. 2.9 million dollars were collected for generators.
