Speech by Nataliia Rylach during the panel discussion "The European vector of development of Ukrainian science and education"
On 11–12 December 2025, Associate Professor of the Department of International Organisations and Diplomatic Service Natalia Rylach delivered a report entitled "Common Policies of the European Union in the Field of Education and Science: Current Opportunities for Ukraine" during the panel discussion "European Vector of Development of Ukrainian Science and Education" at the International Forum "Education, Science, Innovation: Human Capital in the Post-War Revival of Ukraine."
The forum aims to bring together educators, scientists, Ukrainian and international civil society organisations, politicians, representatives of governmental and non-governmental organisations, and international experts to develop a strategy for the development of science and education for the revival of Ukraine and its innovative transformation in the context of achieving sustainable peace.
Among the guests of honour and speakers at the Forum were the third President of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko, well-known statesmen, heads of scientific and educational institutions in Ukraine, and international experts.
The plenary session was moderated by Valery Tsybukh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Executive Director of the Ukrainian Association of Foreign Policy.
The event was organised by leading scientific and educational institutions of Ukraine, including the Ukrainian Peace Council, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Mykhailo Dragomanov National Pedagogical University, and other organisations.
Based on the results of the Forum, proposals are planned to be prepared on strengthening the role of education and science in the development of human capital in the post-war period, modernising educational programmes, expanding international scientific and educational cooperation, and consolidating the expert community for the effective reconstruction of Ukraine.
