“Stages and Methodology of Public Speaking Preparation. Oratory” with the participation of invited speaker Volodymyr Zubchenko
Within the course “Language of Diplomatic Documents,” master’s students of the educational program “Diplomacy and International Cooperation” (instructor — PhD in Economics, Associate Professor N.M. Rylach) commenced the first stage of a theoretical and practical training on the topic “Stages and Methodology of Public Speaking Preparation. Oratory” with the participation of invited speaker Volodymyr Zubchenko.
Volodymyr Zubchenko is a business trainer, host, mentor, and moderator with over 3,000 hours of workshops delivered, a lecturer of educational programs on public speaking techniques, Head of Business Analytics and Market Risk at Raiffeisen Bank, moderator of the Kyiv AI Day conference, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, and Director of the Business School of the “Science Park of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv” Corporation.
During the first session, the speaker introduced students to modern techniques, key skills, and effective approaches to public speaking, sharing practical cases of successful presentations as well as common mistakes to avoid. Particular attention was paid to the main stages of speech preparation, as well as to the structure and logic of building a presentation.
Participants received practical advice on overcoming stage fright, learned strategies for creating meaningful and relevant public messages, and mastered useful tips for effective audience engagement.
The meeting became an important step in developing the professional communication skills of future diplomats and laid a solid foundation for further improvement of their public speaking abilities within the training.
