Orest Tretiak, a student of the Master's educational programme "International Finance and Investment", has successfully passed the competitive selection for the prestigious Master Thesis Training programme organised by The Baltic University Programme (BUP).

From 14 to 17 April 2026, our master's student will be at Sweden's oldest higher education institution, Uppsala University. He is one of 30 top students from around the world who have been given this opportunity.

Participation in Master Thesis Training involves intensive work on master's projects. As part of the programme, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • receive expert advice from leading European scientists on their master's theses;
  • take part in practical workshops on modern research methods;
  • engage in active networking and expand their professional contacts in the international academic community.

Gaining international research experience while still studying is an important priority for our Institute. We are proud of our students, who demonstrate a high academic level and are confidently integrating into the European scientific space.

We congratulate Orest Tretiak on this achievement, wish him maximum productivity during his work in Sweden, and look forward to the successful defence of his fundamental research in December!
