Students of IIR took part in the educational program on European and international studies
From March 23 to March 31, 2024, a delegation of students of the Educational and Research Institute of International Relations of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (IIR) took part in an international educational program on European and international studies organized by the French NGO "Ukraine in Europe." The main objectives of this study tour were to get acquainted with the work of the European Parliament in Brussels and the international court of justice in The Hague.
On Sunday, March 24, IIR students visited the Futurium Museum of the Future in Berlin, where they had the opportunity to get acquainted with interesting exhibitions devoted to new technologies in various spheres of human development.
On March 25 and 26, Ukrainian students had a meaningful cultural program in Amsterdam and Antwerp.
On March 27, 2024, NNIMO students spent a busy day in the capital of the European Union - Brussels with a visit to the European Parliament (EP), where they attended a lecture on the powers of the EP and the legislative decision-making procedure in the European Union and then visited the EP meeting room.
On March 28, 2024, Ukrainian students paid an educational visit to the Center for Visits to the Peace Palace of the UN International Court of Justice, where they watched a film and got acquainted with the exposition dedicated to the work of this respected judicial institution.
Finally, on the penultimate day of the trip on March 29, 2024, the IIR delegation visited the oldest city in the Netherlands - the city of Dordrecht.
Upon completion of the educational program, participants received appropriate certificates.
