In the Ensembles category, the Institute was represented by the band “-20”, consisting of Daria Kliavlina (5 year International Relations), Vladyslav Ivanov (2 year International Economic Relations), Mykyta Chekhovych (2 year International Economic Relations), and Oleksandra Horova (1 year International Area Studies).

The drama around the Grand Prix lasted until the very end. In the final battle for the main award, the IIR band “-20” competed against the band VIAR from the Military Institute of KNU. Daria Kliavlina, a student of Institute of International Relations, also joined VIAR’s performance on drums.

Ultimately, VIAR took 1st place in the Ensembles category, while the Grand Prix of the festival was awarded to the band “-20” for their performance of The Beatles’ legendary song “Let It Be”.

This is the second consecutive Grand Prix victory for students of the Institute of International Relations at “Art Constellation”. Last year, the main award was won by the duo of Daria Kliavlina and Damira Nesipbaieva.

The jury of this year’s Grand Final included comedian Yuriy Tkach, Lux FM radio host and journalist Natalia Tur, and pop singer, finalist of “The Voice of Ukraine Season 10”, and “MUZVAR” award winner Vitalii Oks.

We are proud of the incredible talents of our students and sincerely congratulate them on their victories, which are becoming a wonderful tradition for the Institute of International Relations.
