Students of the Institute of International Relations visited the Embassy of the Italian Republic in Ukraine

A meaningful meeting between students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations and Carlo Formosa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Italian Republic to Ukraine, and Francesco Pesce, Deputy Head of Mission, took place at the Italian Embassy in Ukraine. During the meeting, the diplomats shared their vision of the development of Ukrainian-Italian relations and answered questions from the participants.
The following issues were discussed during the meeting:
- Italy's support for Ukraine in the context of the war;
- the prospects for Ukraine's European integration;
- the specifics of working as a diplomat in a country where military operations are ongoing.

Roman Karmazin, a student at the Institute of International Relations, shared his impressions of the meeting:
"It was a unique opportunity to see the work of a diplomatic institution from the inside and to communicate directly with representatives of Italy. We discussed Italian and Ukrainian cultures, academic exchanges, Ukraine's European integration and the current geopolitical situation."
Carlo Formosa noted the desire of Ukrainian youth to build their future in difficult conditions and stressed that it is the new generation that will form the future elite that will contribute to the development of Ukraine, peace and prosperity. He also assured that Ukraine can continue to count on Italy's friendship and support.
This meeting was a valuable experience for students who are already involved in shaping modern Ukrainian diplomacy.
