The dissertation research on the topic "Financial Instruments for the Development of the Circular Economy in the European Union" was carried out under the supervision of Nataliia Reznikova, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations.

The paper examines the institutional and financial mechanisms for supporting the circular economy in the EU. The analysis of the EU legal framework shows that there is no unified approach to the definition of the circular economy and the key principles of its implementation.
