Timetable for admission to master’s and postgraduate programmes
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has approved the Schedule for the organisation and conduct of entrance examinations in 2026 for the second (master’s) level of higher education, and the Schedule for the organisation and conduct of entrance examinations in 2026 for admission to programmes leading to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy or Doctor of Arts.
The main sessions of the entrance examinations for master’s programmes will take place from 26 June to 14 July, with additional sessions from 3 to 21 August. The main sessions of the entrance examinations for postgraduate programmes will run from 14 to 29 July, with additional sessions from 24 to 28 August.
Registration for participation
Those wishing to take part in the entrance examinations for master’s and doctoral programmes must contact the admissions committees of higher education institutions between 23 April and 14 May inclusive and submit their registration documents. All registered applicants will receive examination sheets containing the details required to log in to their personal information page.
Applicants wishing to amend their registration details or who are unable to register during the main period will be able to do so from 26 to 28 May.
Invitations
Those registered to take part in the main sessions of the entrance examinations for master’s and postgraduate programmes will receive invitations and admission passes on their personal information pages by 19 June, specifying the date, time and venue of the examination.
Participants in the supplementary session for master’s programmes will receive their admission passes by 28 July, and those for doctoral programmes by 19 August.
Results
Information regarding the results of the main session, scored on a scale of 100–200 points, will be available to Master’s programme applicants on their personal pages by 23 July, and for the supplementary session by 21 August.
The results of the main session of postgraduate entrance examinations will be announced by 7 August, and those of the supplementary session by 4 September.
