TV Anchoring Class
Within the English language course, our students participated in the TV Anchoring Class — a unique training format that combines language proficiency with the analysis of international events and the development of public speaking skills (instructor — Nataliia Dzhyma).
Students worked with real international news, analyzed current global processes, learned to articulate and defend their positions logically, and present them effectively in English.
As a final assignment, they delivered speeches inspired by the oratory techniques of prominent world and political leaders. Students also took on the role of TV anchors, presenting news reports on the Syrian conflict.
The course was also attended by the Head of the Department of International Media Communications and Communication Technologies, Professor Serhii Danylenko.
This approach allows students to master the English language through real-world international cases while simultaneously developing practical skills essential for future professionals in international relations.
