Vasyl Namoniuk, Head of the Department of International Finance and guarantor of the English-language bachelor's program "International Commerce and Investment", has been awarded a scholarship under the Think Space Ukraine program implemented by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in cooperation with the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.

Since June 1, 2025, as part of the Center for Interdisciplinary Ukrainian Studies at the University of Regensburg, the researcher has been working on the project "Green Bonds as a Tool for Post-war Urban Recovery in Ukraine: Analysis of Pioneer Cases and Scaling Prospects", which is dedicated to the analysis of green bonds as a tool for post-war urban recovery in Ukrainian cities.

The study is part of Vasyl Namoniuk's doctoral dissertation and includes interviews with financial sector experts and an assessment of municipalities' readiness to issue green bonds.

Vasyl Namoniuk's participation in international research projects demonstrates his high level of expertise and professionalism, and opens up new opportunities for gaining unique experience and knowledge that he can integrate into the courses of the English-language International Commerce and Investment program.
