Victories of the students of IIR at the Festival of Student Creativity ‘ART-SUZIRYA’

On May 14, the Grand Final of the annual artistic competition of the university, the “ART-SUZZIRYA” Student Creativity Festival, took place in the assembly hall of the Red Building at Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko. The event was organized by the Youth Center of KNU. This year, the jury members included: producer Oleksiy Honcharenko, the music band “Patsyki z Franeka”, actress Tamara Andropova, singer Iskra, and choreographer Zhenya Honcharenko.

tudents of the Institute of International Relations, Daria Kliavlina (4th year, IB) and Damira Nesipbaeva (1st year Master’s program IB) participated in two nominations. In the “Instrumental Music” category, Damira (violin) and Daria (piano) performed the legendary “Melody” by the Ukrainian classical music genius Myroslav Skoryk, and Daria performed the song “Beggin” by the band Måneskin on drums. Additionally, Daria joined the VIAR band of the Military Institute of KNU named after Taras Shevchenko, which performed the song “Yak nikoly” by the band “Okean Elzy” in the “Singing, Bands” category.

As a result, Daria with her solo performance took 2nd place, the VIAR band won 1st place, and the duo of Damira and Daria received the Grand Prix, the most prestigious award of the festival!
