RESULTS OF THE II ROUND OF THE ALL-UKRAINIAN COMPETITION OF STUDENT SCIENTIFIC PAPERS IN THE SPECIALTY "INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS, PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS AND REGIONAL STUDIES"
In connection with the introduction and continuation of the quarantine and in accordance with the letter of the DNU "Institute of Modernization of the Content of Education" No. 22.1/10-778 dated 31.03.2020, the II round of the All-Ukrainian Competition for Student Research Papers in the speciality "International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies" was held in 2019/2020 r. in one stage.
For the Competition, 2019/2020 n. in the speciality "International relations, public communications and regional studies", 43 papers were received (45 student-authors, 39 academic leaders) from 21 higher educational institutions.
Diplomas and thanks to the winners of the competition will be sent in June-July 2020.

With the aim of forming a generation of young scientists and practitioners in the field of international economic relations, promoting the realization of their abilities and activating the research work of students, in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 04.10.2019 No. 1271, Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University is designated as a basic a higher educational institution for holding the II round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works in the speciality "International relations, public communications and regional studies".
II round The competition will be held in two stages:
- the first stage - until March 1, 2020 - correspondence (review of scientific works);
- the second stage - the beginning of April 2020 - face-to-face in the form of a scientific and practical conference (defence of works by candidates for victory).
To participate in the Competition, scientific student papers are accepted that meet the requirements defined by the Regulations on the All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Scientific Papers in the Fields of Knowledge and Specialties, which was approved by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine dated 04/18/2017 No. 605.
Please note: scientific works are accepted for consideration that corresponds to the areas of specialization "International relations, public communications and regional studies": political science of international relations, sociology of international relations, history of international relations, security studies, public communications, regional studies (foreign policy and security). Papers from the subjects of economic and legal research, public administration and other social sciences will NOT be considered!
WARNING! In accordance with clauses 3.1-3.7 of the Regulation, the scientific work performed in Ukrainian, must have a title, content, introduction, main part, conclusions, a list of used sources, as well as an abstract, which indicates the relevance, purpose, task, used research methodology and general characteristics works; the text is printed in TimesNewRoman font, line spacing 1.5, pin 14, A4 format sheet; margins: left – 30 mm, right – 10 mm, top and bottom – 20 mm each; the volume of work should not exceed 30 pages without taking into account the list of used source applications. On the title page of the scientific work, only the title of the work and the code (code - no more than two words) are indicated, which replaces the surnames, initials of the author (authors), the scientific supervisor and the name of the higher educational institution. Together with the work, but in a separate sealed envelope (package) under the same code, information about the author (authors), the scientific supervisor of the work, as well as copies of patents, scientific articles of the author (authors), etc., are sent.
In order to determine in the work the coincidence of text and textual borrowings without references to primary sources, together with the paper version of the work, send an electronic version of the scientific work (identical to the one sent in paper format; sent in one Word document with the title from the code of the work; information about the author (authors ) and scientific supervisor are not sent in electronic form) on an electronic medium (CD, RW) or to the e-mail address of the organizing committee of the Competition konkurs_ir@ukr.net
The deadline for the submission of scientific works by students (no more than three works from universities) for participation in the II round of the competition is until February 1, 2020 (the date of dispatch is determined by the postmark).
The authors of the best works will be invited to participate in the final scientific and practical conference, which will be held in April 2020. Conference participants must present reports on the results of their scientific research, which are reflected in the competition work. The Commission decides on the results of the Competition after listening to the scientific reports.
Invitations will be sent out after March 10, 2020. All expenses related to the participation of students in the final conference will be borne by the higher educational institution, whose representative is the participant of the second round (clause 7.3. Regulations on the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the fields of knowledge and specialities, which was approved by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine dated April 18, 2017 No. 605).

RESULTS OF THE FINAL STAGE OF THE II ROUND OF THE ALL-UKRAINIAN STUDENT RESEARCH COMPETITION FROM THE SPECIALTY "INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS, PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS AND REGIONAL STUDIES"
Pursuant to the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 10.10.2017 No. 1364 and the order of the Rector of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University No. 230-32 dated 11.03.2019 "On holding the 2nd round of the All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Research Papers in the speciality "International Relations, public communications and regional studies" in the 2018/2019 academic year on the basis of the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University on April 26, 2019, the final stage of the II round of the All-Ukrainian competition for student research papers in the speciality "International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies" took place.
16 students (authors of 16 scientific papers) were invited to participate in the final scientific and practical conference. 15 students from 12 institutions of higher education in Ukraine made presentations at the conference. 21 leading scientific and pedagogical workers from 10 higher education institutions of Ukraine and representatives of the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University took part in the work of the branch competition commission. The rating of the applicant for victory in the Competition was determined by the arithmetic mean of the points for the performance at the scientific and practical conference (maximum 100 points from one member of the branch competition commission).
The winners, prize-winners and academic supervisors of student competition works were congratulated by the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Director of the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Kopiyka Valery Volodymyrovych and Head of the Department of International Information, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Mykola Mykolayovych Ryzhkov.

in the speciality "International relations, public communications and regional studies" in 2018/2019
With the aim of forming a generation of young scientists and practitioners in the field of international relations, promoting the realization of their abilities and activating the research work of students, in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated September 18, 2018 No. 1010, Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University is designated as a basic higher education educational institution for holding the 2nd round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific papers in the speciality "International relations, public communications and regional studies".
The second round of the Competition will be held in two stages:
- the first stage – until March 10, 2019 – correspondence (review of scientific works);
- the second stage – the beginning of April 2019 – full-time in the form of a scientific and practical conference (defence of works by candidates for victory).

Pursuant to the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 10.10.2017 No. 1364 and the order of the rector of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University No. 33-32 dated January 23, 2018 "On the holding of the II round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works in the speciality "International Relations, public communications and regional studies" in the 2017/2018 academic year on the basis of the Institute of International Relations of the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, on April 27, 2018, the final stage of the II round of the All-Ukrainian competition for student research papers in the speciality "International relations, public communications and regional studies" took place.
16 students (authors of 15 scientific papers) were invited to participate in the final scientific and practical conference. 14 students from 10 higher educational institutions in Ukraine made presentations at the conference. 25 leading scientific and pedagogical workers from 12 universities of Ukraine and representatives of the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University took part in the work of the branch competition commission. The rating of the applicant for victory in the Competition was determined by the arithmetic mean of the points for the first stage of the II round and for the performance at the scientific and practical conference (a maximum of 100 points from one member of the branch competition commission).

Pursuant to the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 10.10.2017 No. 1364 and the order of the rector of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University No. 33-32 dated January 23, 2018 "On the holding of the II round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works in the speciality "International Relations, public communications and regional studies" in the 2017/2018 academic year at the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the first stage of the II round of the All-Ukrainian competition for student research papers specializing in "International relations, public communications and regional studies" took place.
42 student scientific works were submitted to the competition. Member of the sectoral competition committee of the II round of the All-Ukrainian competition for student research papers specializing in "International relations, public communications and regional studies" in 2017/2018. r., which was formed at the request of universities and approved by order of the rector of the university No. 33-32 of January 23, 2018, included 26 leading scientific and pedagogical workers from 13 universities of Ukraine and 5 departments of the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University.
Each work was reviewed by two independent members of the industry competition commission on a 100-point scale, followed by the calculation of the total score and rating of student scientific works. At the meeting of the branch commission on April 4, 2018, on the basis of the discussion of the results of the review of student research papers by the branch competition committee, applicants for the victory in the All-Ukrainian competition for student research papers in the specialization "International relations, public communications and regional studies" in 2017/2018 n.a. the authors of 15 student papers ranked 1-15 were identified and invited to participate in the final scientific and practical conference on April 27, 2018.
