The Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations has published its annual collective monograph

The Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations of the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations presented a collective scientific work entitled "Economic Stability of Countries in the Global Economy."

The monograph was prepared by a team of authors from the department, edited by Doctor of Economics, Professor O.I. Shnyrkov. All teachers of the department contributed to the publication, which emphasises a holistic collective approach to highlighting the current challenges of the international economy.

The preparation of the publication was a logical continuation of the scientific developments presented at the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Economic Stability of Countries in the Global Economy", dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations.

The conference took place on 25 April 2024 at the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations and brought together leading Ukrainian and foreign researchers. The most important ideas, discussions and results of scientific research formed the basis of the monograph.

The monograph comprehensively covers the key dimensions of economic stability of states in the global environment. It examines:

  • theoretical foundations of global and regional economic stability;
  • socio-economic factors and risks to economic security;
  • the impact of international trade, investment and the labour market on the stability of national economies;
  • the structure of financial systems and the methodology for analysing international financial markets;
  • the role of digital technologies in increasing the stability of economic systems;
  • the formation of stable international value chains and participation in integration associations;
  • the specifics of economic stability in the EU, the US and China;
  • foreign economic factors in Ukraine's development in the context of Russian aggression.

The publication will be useful for researchers, practising economists, lecturers, postgraduates and students interested in current trends in the development of the global economy and international economic relations.
