From January 30 to February 7, 2015, a group of IIR students took part in an international educational program on European studies, organized within the framework of cooperation between the Department of Foreign Languages of IIR and the French non-governmental organization "Ukraine in Europe".
March 2015
From March 1-10, 2015, 15 students took part in a study trip to Berlin, Germany, organized for law students of the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University.
On March 13, 2015, the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Spain Luis Miguel Romero Villafranca visited the Institute of International Relations.
On March 13, 2015, the master class "The role of the media in the formation of personal and corporate social responsibility and reputation" was held at the Institute of International Relations with the assistance of the Olena Pinchuk "AntiAIDS" Foundation. TV presenter and media expert Andriy Kulikov and Reuters television news producer in Ukraine Serhii Karaziy took part. The event took place within the lecture hall of the scientific and practical game " PR Acts" of the Department of International Media Communications and Communication Technologies, speciality "International Information".
On March 20, 2015, the interdepartmental scientific conference "The United States in Modern International Transformations: Conceptual and Applied Dimensions" was traditionally held within the walls of the Institute of International Relations based on the Department of International Information. This scientific event was dedicated to the memory of the outstanding Ukrainian scientist E.E. Kaminsky.
On March 21, 2015, post-graduate student of the "International Information" department Daryna Kyrylko and students of the Institute Bohdan Pryimak ( VI MV ), Oleksiy Khoroshenky ( VI MI), Oleksandra Lazebnyk ( V MP), Hanna Rozhkova visited the soldiers of the 79th Mykolaiv Brigade 3 battalion, among which our graduate Andriy Ryabeka has been serving as a volunteer for several months.
On March 30, 2015, the Institute of International Relations held a lecture by an exclusive representative of the Communication Forum in Davos, global director of the C 4 FDavos award, director of PR & GR services of the AGAMA group Communications by Iryna Zolotarevych on the topic "International communication trends of the forum " Communication he top - Davos » 2015" for students majoring in "International Information" as part of the project of the Department of International Media Communications and Communication Technologies "Communications of the 21st Century".
March 30, 2015, The Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv hosted an international round table "Political communications under conditions of interstate conflicts: Ukraine's experience for Europe."
April 2015
On April 8, 2015, the second (oral) round of the VI Interuniversity Competition of young translators - the best students from various higher educational institutions of Ukraine - took place in the hospitable walls of the Humanitarian Institute of the National Aviation University.
On April 15, 2015, the second lecture of the exclusive representative of the Communication Forum in Davos, the global director of the C 4 FDavos award, and the director of PR & GR services of the group took place as part of the lecture of the intellectual and practical game " PR Actics" of the Department of International Media Communications and Communication Technologies, speciality "International Information" AGAMA Communications by Iryna Zolotarevych.
On April 15, 2015, as part of the cycle of master classes in the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations, "Actual problems of the modern world economy and international economic relations" and the discipline " Competition in International Entrepreneurship " (teacher L.O. Shvorak) senior advisor of VTS Consulting LLC Yaroslava Ivasiuk held a lecture for students of the English-language master's program " International Entrepreneurship " on the topic "Practice of unfair competition in Ukraine".
On April 16, 2015, the environmental-patriotic-educational project "Take care of your garden" took place at the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. The event, which has a traditional character, took place in the apple orchard named after Anatoliy Moskalenko one of the founders of the Ukrainian National School of Media Studies.
On April 22, 2015, as part of the cycle of master classes in the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations, "Actual problems of the modern world economy and international economic relations" and the discipline " Competition in International Entrepreneurship " (teacher L.O. Shvorak) Arzinger partner Lana Sinchkina held a lecture on " Misleading Information: Unfair Competition vs. _ Protection of Intellectual Property Rights . Qualification Issues ".
On April 28, the main event of the year took place at the Institute of International Relations - the contest "Mr Diplomat" 2015! The 8 best students of IIR competed for the title of the most talented young diplomat.
On April 30, 2015, within the framework of the "Live Diplomacy" project, members of the " Ambassador " political-diplomatic club had the opportunity to hold a meeting at the German Embassy in Ukraine and talk directly with Mr M. Mertens, the secretary of the political department.
May 2015
On May 9-11, 2015, a delegation from the Faculty of Political Science of Marie Curie-Sklodowska University (UMKS, Lublin, Poland) paid an official visit to the Institute of International Relations. During the visit, the Agreement on joint study of students was signed, which defines the procedure for obtaining education and opportunities for international students to study in Lublin under the double degree program.
Ambassador " political-diplomatic club, a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sweden to Ukraine, Mr Andreas von Beckerat, will take place at the Institute.
On May 15, 2015, as part of the " PR -acts" project, a graduate of the "International Information" speciality, Viktor Zinchenko, visited our Institute.
On May 18, 2015, VTS Consulting advisor Oleksandr Shvorak held a lecture for students of the English-language master's program "International Entrepreneurship" on the topic "Economic Concentration and Anticompetitive Concerted Actions: Regulation in Ukraine."
On May 21, 2015, the International Round Table "Geopolitical Dilemmas. Successes and problems on the path of European integration of Ukraine". The scientific event was held with the financial support of the Polish-German Cooperation Fund, the Foundation named after Robert Bosch ( RBS ) and the Bratniak Foundation (Republic of Poland). In addition to our institute, such universities of the participating countries of the EU program "Eastern Partnership" as Jagiellonian University (Krakow, Poland) took part in the organization of the round table; Viadrina European University (Frankfurt am Oder, Germany); Yerevan State University (Yerevan, Armenia); Tbilisi State University named after Ivane Javakhishvili (Tbilisi, Georgia) and the State University of Moldova (Chisinau, Moldova).
On May 22, 2015, participants and members of the " Ambassador " political-diplomatic club took an excursion to the Museum of the History of the Ukrainian Diplomatic Service at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. All those interested had the opportunity to learn little-known facts about the formation and peculiarities of Ukrainian diplomacy from ancient times to the present day. And also ask questions and get comprehensive answers from career diplomats.
On May 26, 2015, a meeting of participants and members of the " Ambassador " political-diplomatic club took place within the framework of the "Live Diplomacy " project at the Embassy of the Republic of Austria in Ukraine!
On May 29, 2015, at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Director Prof. Kopiyka met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Ukraine, Mr Wajahat Ali Mufti. During the meeting, topical issues of future cooperation in the educational sphere between Ukraine and Pakistan were discussed.
June 2015
On June 2-3, 2015, students of the Institute of International Relations had an extraordinary opportunity thanks to the "Mevlian" Academic Mobility Program to listen to lectures by professors of the University of Cukurov (Adana, Turkey). The lecture by Prof. Turgut Churuka was dedicated to International Accounting, and Prof. Harun Arikan spoke on the subject of International Relations.
On June 13-16, 2015, a delegation consisting of Professor A. Sheptytskyi, a member of the Council of the Polish-Ukrainian Forum, and Professor Ya. Zayonchkovskyi, Deputy Director of Warsaw University for Scientific and International Cooperation, visited the Taras Shevchenko National University Institute of International Relations.
On Saturday, June 27, 2015, a master class "Public broadcasting in Ukraine as a tool of social groups" was held at the Institute of International Relations for graduates of Swedish universities, financed by the state agency Swedish Institute as part of the SI program Alumni Event. The event was organized by graduates of the Swedish Institute and IIR by Dmytro Yarov and Roman Lisovenko. In addition to graduates of the Swedish Institute, who live in Ukraine, students of the Institute of International Relations and the Institute of Journalism of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University took part in the master class.
From August 27 to September 2, meetings of 12 departments were held at the Institute of International Relations of KNU.
On August 31, 2015, in the Great Assembly Hall of the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, a solemn ceremony of handing over student tickets to first-year students took place.
September 2015
The next German-Polish-Ukrainian Summer Academy for young scientists was held in Germany in the city of Darmstadt (Federal State of Hesse) from September 6-13, 2015. The interdisciplinary German-Polish-Ukrainian Summer Academy provided an opportunity for young scientists from Germany, Poland and Ukraine to present their scientific research and discuss tripartite interaction in historical retrospect and taking into account modern transformations in the system of international relations.
September 10, 2015, as part of the project " Ambassador talks "( A - talks ), initiated by the political-diplomatic club " Ambassador " of the Institute of International Relations of the Taras Shevchenko National University in cooperation with the Image Agency of Ukraine, a lecture by an international expert in the field of international relations and psychiatry, Mr Robert van Voren, took place.
September 15, 2015, as part of the project "Diplomacy Live" political and diplomatic club " Ambassador " The Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko KNU had a meeting with the retired Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine, Mr Ihor Mefodiyovych Turyanskyi.
September 29, 2015, within the political-diplomatic club " Ambassador " of the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. a master class on network diplomacy was held by Dmytro Kuleba, Ambassador on Special Assignment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
October 2015
On October 23, 2015, a solemn award ceremony was held for the winners of the international German-language competition on the topic "My country in the European family", held by the Center for German Culture " Widerstrahl " together with the Council of Germans of Ukraine and the German federal company Deutsche Gesellschaft f ü r Internationale Cooperation ( GIZ ).
On October 26-28, 2015, Volodymyr Riznichenko, a 4th-year student majoring in "International Relations" at the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, took part in the 9th World Youth Forum, which is an integral part of the work of the highest governing body of UNESCO - the General Conference, as part of the official delegation of Ukraine as a Youth Delegate (Paris, France).
November 2015
On November 4, 2015, the Institute of International Relations hosted the visit of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Indonesia to Ukraine Ms Ninik Kun Naryati Sisvojo.
Within the framework of the project, "EU Foreign Policy: Experience and Contribution of the Visegrad Group Countries" (the "Visegrad Four - Eastern Partnership: University Research Grants" program of the International Visegrad Foundation) from November 2 to 18, 2015 at the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University Lectures by teachers of partner universities are held.
On November 18, 2015, a meeting of students with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania and the Kingdom of Sweden, who are in Ukraine on a working visit, took place in the Red Building of Taras Shevchenko KNU. The event was also attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, in particular the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lithuania and Sweden to Ukraine.

On December 10, 2015, a delegation from the Jagiellonian University (Krakow, Poland) visited the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, namely: Prof. Bohdan Shlyakhta, dean of the Faculty of International Relations; Prof. Robert Klosovich, director of the Institute of Political Studies and International Relations and Dr Piotr Bayor, project coordinator.
On December 15, 2015, students and postgraduates of the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University met with the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda.
On December 16, 2015, at the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, a working meeting of the director of the Institute of International Relations, prof. V.V. Kopyki with Jean-Paul Schoer, CEO of the international pharmaceutical company Sanofi in Ukraine.
December 18 with the assistance of the Council of Veterans in the Main Educational Building of KNU named after Taras Shevchenko, the First Civic Forum "Feeling of a single university family" was held, in which students of the Institute of International Relations took part.
