The Center for Transatlantic Dialogue invites students and faculty of the Educational and Research Institute of International Relations to the event "Recovery and Reintegration: Strategies for Economic Development and Social Cohesion".

The purpose of the event is to present the results of the survey of residents of Kharkiv and Kherson regions, discuss the key findings of the study, as well as the urgent issues of recovery and reintegration.
The Center for Transatlantic Dialogue in partnership with the Sociological Group "Rating" assessed the reintegration process, identified successes and gaps in the recovery of Kharkiv and Kherson regions, and analysed the challenges facing the residents of the de-occupied territories.
The following topics will be covered during the event:
Economic development of the regions: How will the strategic specialisation of the frontline regions change, and what does the future hold for local businesses?
Human capital: What kind of specialists are needed in the de-occupied territories and how to maximise the involvement of local residents in the recovery?
Reconstruction: Pace, challenges and cities of the future. What does Ukraine need to ensure the sustainability of the process and the return of citizens?
The Great Reconstruction and decentralisation: How planning is shared between central government and local communities. Where does decentralisation help and hinder recovery?
The key to unity: What prevents Ukrainians from finding common ground? Establishing inter-regional dialogue and overcoming the difference in war experiences.
