The focus in the American media space

On November 23, 2023, a lecture by American writer, journalist and psychiatrist Peter Nemirovsky was held within the walls of the NIMV, during which the lecturer shared his experience in the field of American media with 1st year students of the "International Communications". The meeting talked about the features of the American media market, the role of media in political communications, the features of media interaction and the US political system.

The issue of media manipulation and combatting them was also considered. The participants also discussed the positions of American political parties and their media resources regarding the Russian-Ukrainian war and how destructive Russian propaganda penetrated the US information space.
