Little green men in the Baltic states. What will NATO do?

Hryhoriy Perepelytsia, Professor of International Relations and Foreign Policy, Director of the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies, was a guest on Radio NV. The main topic of discussion was the Russian threat to NATO member states and the Alliance's potential response.
In the interview, Hryhoriy Perepelytsia stated that recent Russian provocations against European countries, in particular the violation of Estonian airspace and drone flights over Latvia and Poland, are part of preparations for possible aggression against NATO's eastern flank. He stressed that Moscow is implementing a strategy of "controlled escalation" to test the Alliance's readiness. In response, NATO countries are not demonstrating sufficient political will for a real military response, limiting themselves to diplomatic deterrence of the aggressor.
According to the professor, any talk of peace is currently unrealistic, and diplomacy serves only as an auxiliary tool for achieving military superiority. Hryhorii Peremelytsia separately emphasised the role of China, which, in his words, actually supports Russian aggression within the framework of the global confrontation with the West.
"Ukraine is now a shield for Europe, and therefore the only way forward is to continue the fight, unite European partners and achieve victory, which will guarantee peace for the entire region," Hryhorii Perepelytsia stressed.
