Meeting of graduates of the School of Young Ukrainian Diplomat with Gennadiy Nadolenko
On April 2, 2024, graduates of the School of Young Ukrainian Diplomat of the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv visited the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine named after Gennady Udovenko at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and got a unique opportunity to communicate with Gennady Nadolenko - Director of the Diplomatic Academy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary!
During the meeting, Mr. Ambassador spoke about the work of the Diplomatic Academy as a professional educational institution of postgraduate education to deepen knowledge, improve skills and develop competencies in the field of international relations, foreign policy, diplomacy and foreign languages for employees of the diplomatic service and civil servants-specialists in the field of international relations.
In particular, the Diplomatic Academy has the following Centers:
language training;

information center.
"A diplomat today is a" universal soldier "who must be able and know everything: from Shevchenko's poems to molecular physics. A modern diplomat should have knowledge of several foreign languages, as well as areas of protocol, etiquette, country studies, religion, history, geography, politics, technology."
In response to today's challenges, the Diplomatic Academy actively organizes events aimed at informing the international community about the current situation in Ukraine, in particular, using the tools of public diplomacy.
Young people were extremely interested in learning about the history of the building in which the Diplomatic Academy is located, as well as about its founder - the famous Ukrainian diplomat Gennady Iosifovich Udovenko. Of course, the principle of Mr. Ambassador: "Professionalism. Decency. Patriotism "will become the credo of each of the participants of the meeting!
At the invitation of the GAU staff, graduates of the School of Diplomat had the opportunity to get acquainted with the library of the Diplomatic Academy, the chapel and the hall for diplomatic receptions. Thank you for an interesting tour!
