A new article by Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Olena Koppel and Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Olena Parkhomchuk has been published in the journal “Regional Studies” of Uzhhorod National University: “Through Fractals to the Global Order: A New Approach to the Analysis of the International System”.
The article takes for its aim to analyze the global order through the prism of fractals, mathematical objects characterized by self-similarity and the recursive nature of the construction of their internal structure.
The study of the fractal structure of international relations allows us to reveal the mechanisms of the emergence and development of international conflicts, crises, as well as the dynamics of changes in the international order. This approach allows us to consider the international system as a holistic structure that includes both local and global levels.
