"Seeing the post about the launch of the essay contest, I immediately decided to sit down to write it. To be honest, I love to write long texts. However, the theme of the Revolution of Dignity touched me through vivid childhood memories of those days. It was a great honour for me to receive the winner's award from the hands of Mrs EU Ambassador Katarina Maternova. After the ceremony, I had the opportunity to meet her in person. I thank the jury for the highly appreciated work, I am extremely pleased," Vladislav notes.
In total, 12 of 142 works were selected, the authors of which became finalists in the competition. Among them are also two students of IIR: Anna Kryzhanivska, 2nd year of "International Law," and Lysychyna Nadiia, 5th year student of "International Law."

"I tried to assess the influence of European values in various spheres of activity in Ukraine because this is exactly how now, 10 years later, you can fully understand how important the Revolution of Dignity has become for us. I sincerely thank the organizers for this competition, because in this way young people can join in spreading their own vision of relations between Ukraine and the European Union. I was extremely pleased to hear how highly the jury appreciated our contribution and our contribution to the European integration of our state," recalls Anna.

"Thanks to the defenders and defenders! I thank the participants of the Revolution of Dignity! I thank the organizers and the jury of the essay contest for the opportunity to express their thoughts and feelings. It's nice that my essay was read and evaluated by Katarina Maternova, Olga Stefanishina, Svetlana Zalishchuk, Mustafa Nayyem, Ostap Stasiv, Dmitry Shulga, Natalya Hinotskaya, Roman Tychkovsky, Sevgil Musaeva. Thank you for new acquaintances and impressions. The West motivated, inspired and once again proved that cooperation between Ukraine and the EU is not only an agreement on paper, but also the reality in which we live. Many thanks to everyone who fought for our freedom, and to those who continue to do so! Thank you all for your contribution to creating a better future for our country," says Nadiya.

"Courage, inspiration, determination. This is what I see every day in Ukrainians. It is wonderful to see a new generation that was not on the Maidan, but for which it remains an important factor of transformation," said Ambassador Katarina Maternova.
