Competition from the Leonid Kuchma Presidential Fund "Ukraine"
Charitable organization Leonid Kuchma Presidential Foundation "Ukraine" announces a competition among students on the topic: "International legal consequences of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine" in the specialty "international law"
Topics of scientific works:
- Mechanisms of prosecution for the commission of international crimes.
- Ways of ensuring individual and material criminal responsibility for the commission of the crime of aggression.
- Ways of compensation for damage and losses caused to Ukraine as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
The purpose of the competition: to encourage Ukrainian youth to actively participate in the work of holding the Russian Federation accountable for the genocide of the Ukrainian people and crimes against humanity.
The task of the competition: the student must offer his point of view on the practical aspects of the studied issues, show the mechanism of practical application or change of the existing practice and legislation, which will bring practical benefit to Ukraine.
Contest participants: students of higher educational institutions of all accreditation levels majoring in "international law".
Organization of the competition:
The scientific work together with the personal questionnaire of the participant of the competition (the form is attached) should be sent in electronic form to the address: iir2020@ukr.net (in the subject of the letter, write: "competition") by October 10, 2023. , evaluates them in points and determines the ratings of the competition participants. The maximum score is 100. Based on the results of the rating, the competition commission determines the winners of the competition and makes proposals for their awarding. The results of the competition and the awarding of the winners will be announced at a solemn meeting.
Awards for the winners of the competition:
The terms of the competition provide for the first, second, third and incentive prizes in the form of monetary scholarships of the Leonid Kuchma Presidential Fund "Ukraine". The number of prizes per topic will be determined taking into account the number of participants in the competition, the level and quality of their work. The best works will be published in a special collection in the form of articles prepared on the basis of scientific works. Requirements for the volume and design of articles will be notified to their authors additionally.
Volume requirements:
The total volume of the scientific article (author information, title, text, list of used sources) should be 15–20 pages.
Technical requirements for text design: font – Times New Roman, font size – 14, line spacing – single. The article is submitted in Ukrainian or English.
