International relations

The Department of International Finance cooperates with:

  • University of Western Macedonia (Kastoria, Greece), cooperation within the ERASMUS+ program; a joint program of scientific research and scientific publications - the scientific journal "Journal of Global Economy Review", monographs and other publications is published;
  • Belt and Road Research Institute of Chu Hai University College of Higher Education (Hong Kong SAR, PRC) – joint academic activity and research program;
  • School of International Relations of Fudan University (Shanghai, China) - cooperation in the project "Youth Innovation Competition on Global Governance";
  • Ruhr University Bochum (Bochum, Germany) - holding joint scientific and educational events. In April 2022, scientific and research cooperation was launched within the framework of the work of the Centre for EU-Asia Connectivity (CEAC), Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence at Ruhr-Universität Bochum;
  • Szczecin University (Szczecin, Poland) - joint research activity;
  • Azerbaijan State University of Economics (Baku, Azerbaijan) - conducting joint scientific and educational activities and scientific and research cooperation;
  • Vilnius University (Vilnius, Lithuania) - conducting joint scientific and educational events and scientific and research cooperation;
  • Latvian University (Riga, Latvia) - holding joint scientific and educational events;
  • Harbin Technological Institute (Harbin, PRC) - conducting joint scientific and educational events.
     

The department actively participates in international programs and cooperates with: the National Erasmus+ office in Ukraine; The mission of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Ukraine; the Representation of the UN in Ukraine; the German Academic Exchange Service in Ukraine (DAAD); United Nations Development Program in Ukraine (UNDP); United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO); European Business Association, Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce; American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine and other international organizations.

 

Over the past 15 years, the teachers of the department have collaborated in the following multilateral large-scale projects:

  • Project "The Impact of Financialization on Employment Structure" (2020) – together with the Belt and Road Research Institute of Chu Hai University College of Higher Education (Hong Kong SAR, PRC), Tokyo University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (Tokyo, Japan).
  • Project "Interdependence between Illegal Trade in Tobacco and Corruption, Money Laundering and Organized Crime" (2019-2020) together with Vilnius University (Vilnius, Lithuania).
  • "Technology Transfer in Post-Socialist Economies" project (2016-2018) - together with the Institute of research SMEs and entrepreneurship of Mannheim University (Mannheim, Germany).
  • The PRORES project (Pro-ecological restructuring for jobs) within the 7 Framework program of the European Commissions - together with Vilnius University (Lithuania), Szczecin University (Poland), Institute of the world economy and international relations National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, National university food of technologies (Ukraine) (2011-2015).
  • The project of the TEMPUS program "International Finance in Universities of Ukraine" - together with the University of Liverpool (Great Britain), Lessius Higher School (Belgium), Technological Institute of Western Macedonia (Greece), Zaporizhzhya State Technical University (Ukraine) (2001-2004);
  • INTAS program project "Infrastructural policy of stable growth in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine" (1997-1998);
