The Department closely cooperates with:

The Chair is actively involved in international programs that are supported by UNESCO, NATO, WTO, EU, and the UN in Ukraine. It also cooperates with the foundations of Adenauer, Carnegie, Fulbright, Bertelsmann, Ebert, «Revival».

Members of the Department collaborated, in particular, on the following multi-lateral long-term large-scale projects:

  • INТАS Program Project "Infrastructure Policy for Stable Growth in Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine" (1997 – 1998).
  • TEMPUS Program Project "Training of Specialists in European Studies" – in collaboration with the Free University of Brussels (Belgium), Institute of Political Studies at the University of Muenster (Germany), and University of Hull (United Kingdom) (1998-2001).
  • TEMPUS Program Project "Establishment of the National Innovation Center for International Educational Programs 'INKOS'" – in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, RWTH Aachen University (Germany), and King's College (United Kingdom) (1999-2001).
  • TEMPUS Program Project "International Finance in Ukrainian Universities" – in collaboration with the University of Liverpool (United Kingdom), Lesius Higher School (Belgium), Technological Institute of Western Macedonia (Greece), and Zaporizhzhia State Technical University (Ukraine) (2001-2004).
  • TEMPUS Program Project "European Law in Ukrainian Universities" – in collaboration with Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Ukraine), University of Innsbruck (Austria), University of Kiel (Germany), University of Regensburg (Germany), Lund University (Sweden), and King's College (United Kingdom) (2001-2004).
  • TACIS Program Project "Legal Studies in Ukraine: Kyiv and Certain Regions" – in collaboration with Quality and Reliability company (Greece), European Studies Foundation (Poland), University of Paris I (Pantheon-Sorbonne, France) (2002-2005).
  • Philip Morris Ukraine Program Project – support for educational and research activities at the Institute (2004-2007).
  • TEMPUS Program Project "Tools for Ensuring Quality Management of Internationalization" – in collaboration with Karl von Ossietzky University (Germany), Radboud University Nijmegen (Netherlands), University of Alicante (Spain), Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (Poland), Zaporizhzhia National University (Ukraine), Yerevan State University (Armenia), Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts (Armenia), and Slavonic University (Azerbaijan) (2009-2012).
  • Project under the "Impact of Ukraine's Free Trade Zone with the EU" program with Oxford Economics (United Kingdom) (2012).
  • Jean Monnet Program Project – establishment of the Jean Monnet Chair at the department, development of courses on European economic integration, organization of methodological conferences for educators from other Ukrainian universities, publication of educational and methodological materials (2013-2016).
  • ERASMUS+ Program Project with Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg and Kharkiv National University of Economics named after S. Kuznets, involving student and teacher exchanges (2017-2023).
  • Jean Monnet Program Project – establishment of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence, development of courses on European economic integration, organization of conferences and schools, publication of scientific and educational-methodical materials (2019-2022).

In 2023-2024 members of the Department took part in the following projects:

  • O.A. Chuhayev teaches the course "Research Methods and Methodology" in master's programs at Chu Hai College of Higher Education, Hong Kong, China (2023-2024);
  • V.I. Mazurenko taught the course "Economic Studies: Eastern Europe" at Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences (Germany), at the Faculty of International Business, as part of the bachelor's program "International Business - Intercultural Studies" (2023-2024);
  • L.O. Shvorak visited the College of Europe in Natolin (Warsaw, Poland) under the Erasmus+ (Teaching and Training) program (2024);
  • O.I. Shnyrkov participated in the conference "How to Ensure the Success of Ukraine's European Integration? The Role of the Polish-Ukrainian Tandem," organized by the Julius Mieroszewski Dialogue Center (Warsaw) (2024).
  • A.S. Filipenko participated in the International Conference "Forum for Institutional Thought: Institutions and Survival Challenges for Sustainability," held at the University of Białystok (Poland) (2024)
  • O.I. Shnyrkov took part in the discussion "European Future of Ukraine: Perspectives and Opportunities," organized by the Center for European Reform (London, Brussels, Berlin) (2024);
  • L.O. Shvorak participated in a two-week internship at Tallinn University under the micro-degree program "Educational Innovation and Leadership" (2024);
  • R.O. Zablotska participated in the conference "Ukraine's Recovery: Rebuilding with Research" (London, United Kingdom) (2023);
  • V.I. Mazurenko underwent a series of training sessions within the programs "Ukraine Digital: Ensuring Academic Success in Times of Crisis" and "Ukraine Digital" (Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences, DAAD, Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF)) (2023).
  • O.S. Shepel participated in an international internship at the University of Granada (Granada, Spain) (2023);
  • L.O. Shvorak delivered a series of lectures on "Economic Mechanisms of International Integration" for students of the M.A. Development Economics and International Studies at FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg (Erlangen, Germany) (2023);
  • A.V. Negoda underwent an international internship "Internationalization of Education: New and Innovative Teaching Methods. Implementation of International Educational Projects in the EU Financial Perspective" at Collegium Civitas (Warsaw, Poland) (2023);
  • L.O. Shvorak conducted research seminars at Copenhagen Business School (Department of International Economics, Government and Business) (2023).
