February 2020
On February 1, 2020, the course "Social Theory of International Relations" started at the Institute of International Relations, which unprecedentedly united students from all departments of the Institute from 1 to 6 courses.
On February 5, 2020, a meeting was held at the Institute of International Relations with Serhii Prytula, a Ukrainian TV presenter, actor, author and co-producer of several humorous shows.
On February 6, 2020, a solemn graduation ceremony for masters of 5 English-language programs of the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University took place.
On February 7, 2020, the Department of Foreign Languages of the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University held a scientific and practical conference "Actual Problems of Professional Translation".
On February 11, 2020, the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University welcomed the visit of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Slovakia to Ukraine J.V. Mr Marek Shafin.
On February 17, 2020, the Institute of International Relations hosted a meeting of students with the famous Ukrainian presenter and public figure Masha Yefrosinina.
On February 18, 2020, a consultation meeting of the Institute's administration with architectural specialists on the modernization of the IIR library was held.
State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andriy Zayats visited the Institute of International Relations on February 18, 2020, many students showed great interest in this meeting.
On February 21, 2020, the Institute of International Relations of the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University hosted an international scientific conference on the topic "The influence of religion on the independence, politics and society of Ukraine", organized by the Institute of Foreign Studies in cooperation with Claremont McKenna College (USA).
On February 25, 2020, a lecture was held by Artem Kovbel, a financial advisor to Yevgeny Chernyak, author of the book "Forensic. Chronicles of an auditor" and more than 200 articles on financial topics.
On February 26, 2020, a master class of Mykhailo Bno-Ayriyan, ex-deputy director of NEC "Ukrenergo" for communications and international cooperation, a graduate of the Institute of International Studies, on the topic "Energy Diplomacy" was held within the walls of our Institute.
Extremely familiar and pleasant to the ear Ukrainian words began our meeting with the Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine Larisa Galadza. The event took place at the Institute of International Relations on February 26, 2020.
On February 27, 2020, the opening of the "Not for Sale" exhibition took place within the artistic space of the IMB Hall Art Gallery.
On February 29, 2020, an Open Day was held at the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University.
March 2020
From February 24 to March 1, 2020, a large delegation of IIR students and teachers took part in the first educational trip organized by the French NGO "Ukraine in Europe" to the Kingdom of Spain.
On March 3, 2020, at the Institute of International Relations, the Department of International Media Communications and Communication Technologies held a presentation of the textbook "Fundamentals of Visual Analytics and Prognostics".
The head of the State Employment Center Olga Makogon held a meeting with students of the Institute of International Relations on March 4, 2020.
From March 20 to April 26, 2020, the teachers of the departments of international law, comparative and European law, international relations and foreign policy organized an essay contest.
April 2020
On April 8, 2021, the Memorandum on Cooperation between the Institute of International Relations and the Ukrainian Institute was signed.
On April 18, 2020, as part of the International Art Management (IAM) course, organized by our Institute with the assistance of the Business School of the Moscow State University, two online lectures by Denys Belkevich, a well-known art economist, took place.
May 2020
On May 2, together with IAM, an online immersion in the art of Mexico took place.
On May 10, 2020, a live broadcast was held on the topic: "Monetization of a creative career: before and after COVID."
On May 14, 2020, students of the master's specialization "International Protection of Human Rights" took part in the master class of the Doctor of Law. Lydia Kuzmenko holds the position of adviser on legal issues of the Kyiv office of the UNHCR and is a graduate of the Institute of International Studies.
On May 15, 2020, for the first time in the history of IIR, a Zoom consultation was held for future applicants and their relatives as part of #KNUExpoONLINE.
On May 25, 2020, a presentation of the distance education platform "KNU Education Online" was held in the main educational building of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University with the participation of representatives of relevant ministries and committees, as well as the University management.
On May 29-30, 2020, the International Scientific and Practical Online Conference "Regulatory Power of the European Union" will be held as part of the activities of the Jean Monnet Center of Excellence at the Institute of International Relations.
July 2020
On July 1, 2020, an online meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine Oleksandr Serhiyovych Slipchenko took place within the framework of the School of Young Ukrainian Diplomats of the Business School of our Institute.
On July 2, 2020, a charity trip to the village of Orlivka, Kulikovsky district, Chernihiv region.
On July 3, 2020, as part of the #OpenUkrainianDiplomacy project of the School of Young Ukrainian Diplomats of the Business School of our Institute, an online meeting was held with the advisor of the Embassy of Ukraine in Italy Yaroslav Moshkola.
November 2020
On November 13, 2020, the Institute of International Relations received 500 tests for the detection of antibodies to Covid-19 from the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and former Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Yehor Valeriyovych Bozhok spoke before the audience of his alma mater.
A team of International Law students will participate in a debate with a team of students from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies (USA) by discussing the current trade dispute within the World Trade Organization.
