Другий круглий стіл у межах сезону IIR Career Day Talks
The Institute of International Relations Development Fund successfully held the Second Round Table within the IIR Career Day Talks season. The event brought together prominent graduates of the Institute who today make a significant contribution to shaping the country’s economic agenda: Dmytro Natalukha — Member of the Parliament of Ukraine of the 9th convocation, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development; and Hlib Buriak — economist, advisor to the same committee, and PhD in Economics.
The meeting was dedicated to a comprehensive discussion of the activities of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development — from entrepreneurship policy and antimonopoly regulation to public-private partnerships, privatisation, development of the real sector of the economy, and even the space industry.

Special attention was paid to the new ideas developed by our graduates, namely the concept of economic reservation — a mechanism that allows businesses to independently determine strategically important employees, and the Fast State model — a human-centered, efficient, automated management system focused on results.
The participants also discussed the existence of a unified national strategy for economic development and identified the sectors with the greatest potential for post-war recovery, including the defense-industrial complex, large-scale demining of territories, and the development of prosthetics and rehabilitation services.
Furthermore, they addressed the issue of building Ukraine’s global brand. Dmytro Natalukha emphasized that today Ukraine is associated with ingenuity, resilience, flexibility, endurance, and speed — qualities that lay a powerful foundation for the country’s future economic breakthrough.
At the end of the meeting, the speakers shared their own stories of professional growth, highlighting the crucial role of the Institute of International Relations in shaping their way of thinking, analytical skills, and decision-making approaches. They also offered valuable advice to students: not to be afraid to try themselves in different fields, to seek opportunities, experiment, and never lose faith in their own potential!
