DS SOLUTIONS and the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (KNU) have officially concluded a Memorandum of Cooperation, opening up new opportunities for the development of legal education and practice in Ukraine.

The Memorandum defines shared areas and forms of cooperation, including:

  • Facilitating the employment of the Institute's students and graduates;

  • Organising internships and apprenticeships for students, postgraduate students, and faculty members;

  • Preparing analytical notes and research commissioned by DS SOLUTIONS;

  • Conducting guest lectures, master classes, workshops, and practical seminars;

  • Developing and updating educational programs and methodological materials;

  • Joint public events: conferences, forums, round tables, seminars, and training sessions.

"For us, this Memorandum is not just a document, but a step towards forming a modern legal ecosystem and supporting young specialists," noted DS SOLUTIONS partners.

As part of the new cooperation, the process of creating an educational LegalTech Hub has already begun. This hub will unite students, faculty, and practitioners to exchange knowledge and experience. LegalTech Startup School is an open educational and entrepreneurial program where students can create their own LegalTech and Law&Tech projects, work with mentors, and present the results to an expert commission. This program is implemented in the overall strategy of digitalization and the introduction of AI into the educational process. The program's goal is to form an ecosystem of student LegalTech projects and develop practical skills: from market analysis and IP management to product development and marketing.

The hub program is scheduled to start on March 1, 2026, with the recruitment of student teams and the submission of legal ideas. In April, teams will form the concepts of their projects and work on market analysis and the legal framework of the products, particularly through lectures and workshops with experts.

The first open event of the hub is planned for Maya seminar on current topics of international law, where students will be able to present the first versions of their products' marketing and business plans, receive consultations from mentors, and feedback from potential clients.

The program then involves working on the business model, financial planning, product testing with clients, and final presentations in October 2026 before a commission of experts and potential partners.

This approach allows for the combination of academic knowledge and practical experience, supports students in realising their ideas, and helps form a modern legal ecosystem.

DS SOLUTIONS and the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko KNU intend to actively develop a partnership aimed at improving the quality of legal education and practical training for future specialists in international law.
