Presentation of projects by students of the International Communications educational programme at the Institute of International Relations and International Law
On 26 November 2025, students of the International Communications academic program at the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv presented their projects as part of the course “Public Administration.”
During the course, instructor Maria Zaitseva applied the MBA principle based on the case study method. Students analyzed real cases, actively participated in discussions, and developed practical solutions.
In addition, the teams identified participants’ talents and formulated recommendations for improving both soft and hard skills.

While working on their projects, students also developed their own leadership qualities, enhanced team motivation, and demonstrated the ability to work cohesively and create an effective communication environment.
Each team selected a relevant topic and defined its goals:
“Smoke-Free Break” — to reduce the number of smoking incidents during breaks by 10% by 30 June 2025 through an information campaign and the creation of smoke-free recreational areas.
“Smart Move” — to implement an intelligent traffic management system in a selected district of Kyiv and reduce travel time by 10% by 31 December 2026.
“Inclusive Transport” — to create a barrier-free and safe public transport route in Kyiv, fully accessible to people with reduced mobility by 1 November 2026.
“Path to the First Job” — to employ 20 young people aged 18–25 within six months after completing the program, using their volunteer experience as a basis.
The experience gained in project development and teamwork will be valuable for our students in their future professional careers.
