Professional development program for teachers of the Alliance of Ukrainian Universities

Associate Professor of the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations Lyudmyla Shvorak took part in a week-long program of professional development for teachers of the Alliance of Ukrainian Universities AUU Global Synergy through Collaborative Online International Learning.

As part of the program, 11 COIL trainers in particular from SUNY COIL Center (USA), DePaul University (USA), EducationUSA, Education University of Hong Kong, University of Potsdam (Germany), CU Catholic University of Manisalez (Colombia), The Hague University of Applied Sciences and Utrecht University (the Netherlands) shared with the participants the theoretical and practical tools of COIL, as well as their own experience in launching and running projects.

According to the results of the work, it is planned to launch a pilot project for students of various structural units of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with the participation, including students of the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations of the IIR.

Work will also continue on the development of international COIL projects to deepen the internationalization of education and the acquisition of cross-cultural competencies by students.
