Educational-Scientific Center "Synthesis"
Centre for Interdisciplinary Research “Synthesis” conducts interdisciplinary research in international relations, international economics, international business, international law and diplomacy, international organizations and European integration. The members of the Centre are leading researchers in these fields of knowledge.
The main purpose of the Centre’s activity is to concentrate the efforts of scientists on key directions of international relations research and to get theoretical and practical results of a complex nature based on a combination of political, economic, legal, informational and other concepts and approaches.
Centre’s objectives:
- Conducting interdisciplinary scientific research in the field of international relations on the basis of a combination of political, economic, legal, informational and other concepts and approaches;
- Organizing interdisciplinary scientific events (scientific and practical conferences, seminars, round tables, etc.) in the field of international relations;
- Encouraging international cooperation in the field of scientific research in international relations on the basis of the interdisciplinary approach;
- Preparing scientific publications, digests on results of scientific research in the field of international relations on the basis of the interdisciplinary approach;
- Attracting leading foreign scientists to join interdisciplinary scientific developments in the field of international relations;
- Organizing student and postgraduate scientific events in the field of international relations based on the interdisciplinary approach;
- Facilitating analytical and informational activity in the field of international relations;
- Carrying out educational activities in the field of international relations on the basis of the interdisciplinary approach;
- Initiating cooperation with the public authorities and private sector enterprises in order to develop their strategies in the field of international relations;
- Developing cooperation with structural subdivisions of the Institute of International Relations and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in the field of interdisciplinary research;
- Encouraging cooperation with institutions of higher education and scientific institutions of Ukraine and foreign countries in the field of scientific research of international relations on the basis of the interdisciplinary approach;
- Cooperating with international organizations, integration associations, and public organizations in the field of research on international relations on the basis of the interdisciplinary approach.
Provision of the Educational-Scientific Centre “Synthesis”
Members
The Centre’s activities are managed by the International Scientific Council. The International Scientific Council of the Centre includes prominent domestic and foreign scholars in international relations, international economic relations, international business, international law, international information and regional studies.
The Head of the International Scientific Council of the Centre is the Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor, Director of the Institute of International Relations Valerii Kopiika.
The Executive Head of the Centre is Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Anton Filipenko.
